Very Merry, Thanks to Larry

C&H Taxi in Charleston, WV

Larry Walker is a transportation provider for C&H Taxi in Charleston, WV. And though his vehicle isn’t exactly a sled with eight super-powered reindeer, he did a pretty good impression of that other guy last Christmas.

Shortly before the holidays last year, Larry was engaged in conversation with one of his regular clients as he transported her to a medical appointment. At some point, the client lamented that her child “wasn’t going to have much of a Christmas.”

Hearing that a child wasn’t going to have “much” proved to be too much for Larry; he raised money, and then persuaded some people to match the funds he was able to pull together. The happy result was enough money to enable his client to purchase several Christmas gifts for her child.
