Department:  Network Services (Corporate)

Job Status:  Full Time

 

FLSA: Exempt

Reports To:  Director, Network Insights

 

Grade/Level:  NA

* leveling based on previous experience

 

Location: Boston (25% to 50% travel required)

Amount of Travel Required:  25-50%

Work Schedule:  Normal business hours.  On occasion may need to be available to work holidays and occasional weekend work may be required.

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The manager of network reporting will build reporting capabilities for the Network Center of Excellence. The primary responsibility of the network reporting team will be to provide clear, actionable, and objective feedback to the Network Center of Excellence (COE) regarding the outcomes of various business initiatives as well as routine reporting.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

The purpose of the COE is to drive reduced costs and increased performance from Circulation’s providers of non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) using data & analytics.  The ideal candidate will have had experience conducting reporting and variance analysis in a high visibility role. The candidate would also be able to describe examples of specific business decisions that they positively impacted through their analyses. The candidate will also be committed to using modern reporting tools to perform their work (i.e. Tableau, Qlik, etc., not excel).


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

            Competency Statement(s)

 

- Experience as a finance and/or operations manager

- An ability to communicate with a high degree of precision

- An ability to manage others

- Ability to perform variance analysis to drive decision making

- Proficient with at least one business intelligence tool

- Ability to build reporting based on a solid understanding of transactional level data

- Openness to using modern, open source technology (R, Python, etc.)

- Can think both critically and creatively about reporting and analysis

- Has excellent communication skills
- Is excited by challenges and undeterred by ambiguity
- Is always looking for ways to improve the current process
- Works well with others - you thrive while sharing knowledge and receiving input

- Wants to know how their models actually performed, able to explain variances
- Understands the importance of “right tool for the right job” when it comes to reporting

 

EDUCATION:

 

-BA/BS degree required

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

3+ years of experience in Network Reporting / Financial Analysis

Approximately 60% of work time is conducted in an office environment in a controlled atmosphere building and approximately 25-50% will involve travel to other Company sites and/or the facilities of our subcontracted network providers, which may include visiting fleet operational facilities where and ability to maintain full awareness of surrounding hazards is required.
