We know that you will have more questions than what are listed here, and we are committed to providing answers. We will update this page frequently with new information as it becomes available. Combination of our Organizations

Why did Modivcare choose to partner with VRI in this combination?

  • We have found the right partner in VRI to help us drive significant value and enhancement to our patients’ lives by bringing solutions designed to address the social determinants of health, deliver better care in the home, and reduce healthcare costs.

Organizational Structure

Should I consider Modivcare or VRI my employer?

  • You are now a part of the Modivcare family of companies; however, VRI will continue to be your employer as of the close of the acquisition and beyond.

What are “social determinants of health” and how is Modivcare addressing these?

  • The “social determinants of health” are the conditions in which people are born, work, live, age, and play that can have either a positive or negative impact on their health. Social determinants of health can also affect a person’s access to healthcare and quality-of-life outcomes.
  • Through the combination of our organizations, Modivcare’s vision is to strategically address the social determinants of health by creating a holistic patient experience, or a one-stop-shop for our patients, in which we deliver transportation, personal care, nutrition, and remote patient monitoring services.
